SKIP TRACING

Skip tracing is a term used to describe the process of locating an individual that cannot be found at their residence or the locations they may frequent.Skip refers to the phrase "to skip town" and is the act of searching for an individual while Tracing refers to the act of locating them. Whether an individual has moved to another state, changed their name, or changed their number, our team can help track down these hard-to-find individuals. Sometimes, the situation calls for a team who thinks "outside the box."

As such, we gather, analyze, cross-reference, and verify as much information as possible from sources such as neighbors, social media, and court records (property deeds) to locate the individual. There are many individuals that will intentionally evade detection or "skip town" if they are a fugitive, know that a legal action is pending and want to avoid being served, or owe a debt and want to avoid payment.

Skip Tracing, however, does not always mean an individual is intentionally hiding or avoiding detection. There are times where an individual is difficult to locate due to the lack of information available or due to outdated records. Our ability to locate individuals means you may be able to:

  • Locate witnesses

  • Locate a person-of-interest

  • Serve court documents

  • Collect a debt

  • Locate a long-lost relative

  • Locate birth-parents

  • Determine if an individual is deceased

  • Next of kin

  • Property Owners

You may find our skillset useful regardless of whether the individual is intentionally going off-grid or trying to remain private. No matter the situation, we make sure to leave no stone unturned!
